National Letter Writing Day

In honor of National Letter Writing Day..I am going to write letters instead of a real blog post. Stop by tomorrow. I promise real content. =)

Archiving Past Mail

Today I decided to archive my past mail. Everything prior to starting this blog. And then decided to add the larger pieces I've gotten as well. ( Not because I dont want to look at them but because they take up considerable space.)

I placed the postcards and letters wrapped in paper and tied with string into my trunk. And then placed them into the attic. At some point I will add all the letters from this year. Separated by sender of course, into this unseeming time capsule. 

Not All Mail...

Ellen Stamp

So I decided to make up a sheet of Ellen stamps for her contest. She wants to be the first living person on United States postage. I spent some time today working on this sheet..and I am pretty happy with the results.

Not bad for my first attempt at artist stamps huh? Some of you may see these on letters bound for you!

Large Mail Art

Guess who got some special mail art today...ME! I promise to share pictures but until then...I am pouring over it and trying to figure out how I will ever be able to top this!
