Day 11 brings us another stamp in the Literary Arts series. This stamp commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of William S. Porter (better known under his pen name O. Henry) is one that I can appreciate. Working in a library probably helps that out a little...but come on..who doesn't like the Gift of the Magi?
This stamp is the 28th in the series with the first stamp being issued in 1979. The illustrator is Cap Pannell.
