Here we are at Day 13. The stamp shown above is part of a series based on Great Film Directors. This stamp is of John Ford. This stamp (and all the others) features a likeness of the director themselves along with a bit of art symbolizing one of their more notable works.
This stamp shows the director John Ford in front of a scene from The Searchers. The movie was released in 1956 and starred John Wayne and Natalie Wood. And while it won no academy awards, the movie was voted the best western film of all time by the American Film Institute in 2008.
