Danny Thomas

Today marks the release of the Danny Thomas forever stamp. Danny Thomas was an actor on the show Make Room For Daddy, but is probably better known for opening the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

In the foreground obviously we have this stamps namesake, and in the background we have St. Judes. I wish the postal service would have donated a percentage of the sales to support the work that the doctors and nurses are doing at St Judes. Like Danny Thomas said, " No child should die in the dawn of life."

    An organization I have given to every year and a bit more in the last 4 I have had my own child. And I get the little return addresses

    St Judes is a wonderful organization and probably one of the few where most of the money donated goes towards the cause. I hate when you donate money and only 2% goes to the actual problem.
