Two Questions

If I were to make up a list of questions for letter writers and mail senders..would you participate by filling out the answers? Would it bother you if I knew who you were? If so, then I would need to figure out a way to make it confidential..as in..probably submitted online somehow.

The second question is this...Suppose you buy a Forever stamp and you still have it after 10 years. Postage (heaven forbid) is $2 to send an ounce. Would the USPS still accept it? I mean I know they are called Forever stamps and you should be able to use them forever...but will they draw a line somewhere?

I am just filled with questions today. Something tells me that is a good thing..no?

  2. Yes, I would answer the questions. But you would have to wait a few days to receive them.

  5. fire away.. I've got nothing to hide.. and yes Forever stamps do mean forever. I think that the post office assumes that there will be a few people hoarding stamps but you still go through them and will eventually need to replace them. either they make the money now which is also needed or later on the replacements.

  6. I'd answer questions. Actually, filling out a questionnaire for letter writers sounds like fun and I bet a lot of us would be willing to submit it via snail mail. =D

  7. I would definitely answer questions, and it doesn't need to be anonymous.

I definitely think Forever stamps will truly work forever--or, as my friend likes to say just to tease me, until the post office doesn't exist.

  8. Forever is forever. South African stamps for sending in country are marked 'Standard Mail' and I found loads of them that were bought about 10 years ago when they were much cheaper.

    I will answer some questions.

I do think Forever stamps would work forever, otherwise the definition is a little off, yes? haha :)

  11. I would also answer your questions, with no need to feel anonymous. And if "forever" stamps weren't "forever," the P.O. would have some 'splaining to do!

  12. I would answer questions about letter writing opening. Yes, "Forever" will always cover the first class postage rate.

  13. Questions are one of my favorite ways to learn new things. :) I'd be happy share my answers. If you did want to allow people to answer anonymously/privately, you could do it by asking the questions via a Google docs form.
