What more can I say about these photos? They are beautiful. I love fall, it is my favorite season!
This is a spider web with dew on it. ( I cannot believe I just had the due vs dew conversation mentally in my head. I think it is time to rest!)
And finally some interesting bugs that I saw. They were so colorful how could I not take their picture?
The hike was wonderful...with exception to being eaten alive by mosquitos. Even after spraying myself down with bugs spray. Oh well...it was worth it. We have had rain all day and the leaves are falling quickly. I am very glad I got those shots. =)
Those photos are absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bev!
ReplyDeleteSigh, those photos make me feel a bit homesick. (Not the bugs, though!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love the colors. And the photo of the spider web - just amazing.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that one neat? I wish I had taken more time with it, but those darn bugs were eating me alive. By the time I had gotten home, there was a nice sized welt on my neck from one that thought it was a vampire. Oh well, there will be other spiderwebs. =)
ReplyDeleteOkay, another comment just disappeared. I quit.
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome photos, Misty. They're worthy of postcards, notecards, photos to be matted, framed and hanging from walls.
ReplyDeleteWe have those bugs here. I've taken hundreds of photos of them. They're cute. :) I think they're stink bugs, if memory serves me right. They also eat and destroy.
Have you named your camera? I use an Olympus E-620 mostly. What's yours?
Thank you Limner!! I appreciate your kind words. And they very well could be stink bugs, I haven't looked them up yet. Though I recall seeing them when I was younger. =)
ReplyDeleteMy camera is actually just a point and shoot, a Juji finepix s1000fd. At this point it is around 3 or 4 years old. I keep telling myself that I will upgrade to a better camera, but my money seems to go towards other things. Perhaps I will buy myself one with my tax return? We'll see. This camera has an amazing macro setting, which I LOVE!
