Greeting Card Books
Do you save greeting cards? Ever wonder what you could do with all of them? Nicole from Three By Sea has a great idea. Instead of posting all the instructions here..I am going to cheat and make you go over to her blog and read about it. I am personally going to attempt something like this and when I do...you loyal followers will be the first to hear about it. =)
How about a small giveaway? I am not sure what the prize will be, but the first person to guess Carter's Halloween costume (or at least what he has told me he wants to be) will win something of my choosing. =)

I'm so bad at guessing!!!!
Ding Ding Ding!! He told me the other day he was being a fireman!! Hmm...what to send what to send. I am sure I will come up with something. =)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea. I have tons of old greeting cards saved up. Where can you get rings like that... a craft store?
ReplyDeleteMarian- You should be able to find them in craft stores. I am trying to remember what they are called...but I am having a bit of trouble.
ReplyDeleteThe rings are called Binder or Book rings. You can find them by searching Amazon. =) My guess is that an office supply store would have them too.
ReplyDeleteHey Misty, Just wanted to comment over on your blog also and thank you for sharing my post with your people. I've been cruising around your blog and really digging what I read!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the book rings can be found at most any office supply store. Amazon is great for finding the smaller sizes, but if you're like me, you need the big daddies for all the greeting cards you've collected! I had a friend who is doing this with all her wedding cards also, which I thought was really nice, too.
Nicole- Thanks for stopping by, and thank you for allowing me to post about this neat idea! I am headed to the craft store tomorrow in search of the book rings (among other things..)
ReplyDeleteThe wedding card idea would be great too. I think I may do one with the holiday cards I get this year. Awesome idea!! Thanks again for stopping by!
Well, dang! I was gonna guess the Green Lantern LOL. Just like me, a day late and 5 dollars in the hole. :)
ReplyDeleteHope we get to see Carter the Great Fireman all done up. :D
Limner- So far he hasn't changed his mind..but with boys his age...you never know!! I will be sure to get a picture of him to share. Speaking of which...I should get his school pictures soon. =) He has some mail for you..but he still hasn't signed the card (he can write his own name!!), but once he does I will mail it out for him.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! He can write his name already??? :D Why am I all teary? I get so emotional lately. :( . . . :) . . . Silly ole me. That is so sweet. :)))
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Limner- Something heads your way tomorrow from Mr. Carter. =)
