Mailbox Sketch For Letters & Journals

There was a giveaway in this months Letters & Journals newsletter. And I decided to take the challenge. It was to photograph or draw a mailbox.

I had been working on some sketches of mailboxes recently so I thought I'd actually finish one for this contest. The mailbox pictured is similar to the one my very first penpal letters arrived in while in middle school. I miss that mailbox.

    Realy nice sketch, my neighbor found an antique one like this and mounted it for his hoise mail box, it's really great. xox Corrine

    That is such a great mailbox. :) Wish ours was half as interesting, or worth drawing. We have those plastic cluster things.
